A day at the cricket, England vs Australia in the ICC Trophy at Edgbaston. I tried to photograph the batsmen as they hit the ball, and this is my favourite of the day, because you can see the bails being knocked off - in this instance, I didn't manage to photograph the batsman hitting the ball... He missed it and was bowled. The photo works also well because he is looking towards the camera and you can clearly see his face. Given the distance away that I was, I am quite pleased with the image, although as always, there is improvement to be made on the focussing.
