The chair. One of the first things I learned about photography was to use different angles from the "norm" to view subjects and take photos. Very high and very low profiles can provide unusual perspectives of day-to-day objects. The harsh lighting on this chair has produced a great shadow behind it that adds to the image. I increased the contrast hugely before converting to black and white.
