We have spent the weekend painting the spare room, so I had to get a photo of a paint pot and the old ladder. I used spot metering, on the inside of the paint pot, to make sure it wasn't too dark in there, and a large aperture to make it stand out more in the foreground. This is one of my favourite photos that I've taken for this project, because it isn't just a photo, it tells the story of our weekend.
