4 miles in the Forest

After the swim this morning, although I had the initial feeling of pride for doing it, that soon disappeared and I felt as though what I'd done was quite pathetic. So in the afternoon I wanted to run as I knew that would make me feel better. We went in the forest where I know I can turn at a point to make a 4 mile run just 3 miles. I felt ok but still not confident. I had no knee pain, but I wasn't sure I should do more than 3 miles. Coming up to the turn he said it was up to me whether we went short or long, but when I said short he didn't agree so we went long and I completed the 4 miles. The first 3 miles were at about 9:45 mm and then we pushed the third mile to 9mm. I did feel a lot better afterwards, a bit more worthy.
