Emptying the Library

Kerry came round this morning and advised that we needed to ensure the Library was emptied so that the labourer can start taking the walls and ceiling apart tomorrow. Moving all the books on the book cases to the conservatory, to their new home was quite a job, but a good time for a dust and review of whether all the books are still needed/wanted. The thing is, we quite like the book cases in the conservatory - at least the full height one without cupboard - maybe we'll leave it in there after the work has been done, next to the arm chairs.

Photos 2 and 3: New desk areas for the foreseeable future. Mine is in the bedroom (I'm less likely to be working at it late into the night), and his is under the stairs.
Photos 4 and 5: The Library is cleared. Pleasing day's work - where we even found time to go out for a delicious barbecue for the afternoon. Hopefully this room will look different this time tomorrow!
