Week 8, day 3: All the bricks are in

So, today is kind of momentous, in that all of the brick work was completed and the gable wall goes right to the top now. The brickie has done a great job in making the wall upright and straight!
Photo 1: Inside, the block work goes all the way up to the roof now.
Photo 2: Outside, the gable wall is completed and it is starting to look like an actual part of the house now.
Tomorrow will be even more momentous, as the steel is delivered and the adjoining wall will be knocked through, steel fixed in place and I will sleep in a ginormous open plan bedroom, with a large amount of dust I imagine. It is going to be strange when they put the walls up, what if I don't like small rooms anymore?
