More Before Photos
05th May 2014
The final instalment of "before" photos, is of the upstairs rooms and hall, stairs and landing. Hopefully these will help us remember how these rooms looked, and how big the changes have been.
Photos 1-3: Bedroom 1. Can't believe we've lived with this paint work for 3 years! Think if I'd woken up every morning seeing the vivid purple, it'd be changed by now. The fact that it was behind me, meant it went unaltered. All change now, and purple isn't part of the new plan!
Photos 4-5: Spare room - we're still proud of this paint job, shame it will go now. Still, we'll always remember to wear a face mask when using metallic spray paint in the future now, after blowing silver from our noses for a week after doing this!
Photo 6: The bathroom - Liveable, but not how we'd design a bathroom. Not long before I can have a bath now!
Photo 7: The hallway/lobby, which will be updated by taking down the little wall closest to the front door, and putting a door across the opening furthest from the front door. It will be a little area to take shoes off in and store coats, hats and shoes (that's the plan anyway).
Photos 8 and 9: The stairs will completely change, with a bend coming in at the top. Most importantly, the purple carpet will go!!
So, that's all the "before" photos. Its been our home for 3 years - and now it is time for a change. Bring it on.
