Week 12, day 2: We have walls

Last night we spent a long time ordering bathroom goods - 3 sinks, 3 toilets (almost a closed coupled toilet pan with a back to wall black plastic cistern until I realised the error in my ways...), 2 electric towel rails, a bath, 1 shower head to see if we like it and 2 wet room shower tray kits (one linear with a long rectangular drain, and one standard with a small square drain). It was a tough evening; that is a lot of final decisions to make after a lot of changes of mind! This morning we ordered new radiators for the bedrooms and downstairs toilet. We just have tiles to decide on now!
The first job for the builders to do today was to attach the door handles and latches to the newly hung doors. After this, the walls upstairs were boarded with plaster board on one side so that the electrics can be installed at the weekend. Finally, the doorway to the library downstairs was worked on, as it needed to be made narrower. This was done, and the door was hung. One of those days where it looks like a lot has been done, today.
