Week 2, day 4: Purple walls anyone?

I think if I were building this extension, or if I worked from home all day, I'd understand that three rows of block and a filled in floor takes all day. I don't think there is any shirking - at the end of each day, they look shattered - I just didn't have the appreciation before.

Photo 2: In this photo you can see the wall and the floor, which has been covered over. with concrete. There is also some additional scaffolding bits, which I guess they used to get to the higher level. Definitely making progress now.


Photos 3 and 4: The front garden has been in better shape. My poor car has to sleep round the corner! Photos aren't great because it was dark...
