Week 5, day 2: Second dormer is framed

We're not at home watching this week, and it is hard to comprehend how much hard work building the roof is. There is a lot of mental energy exerted I think, making sure all angles are correct and each piece of wood is cut to exactly the right size. As it is going to rain tomorrow, the tarpaulin has been pulled across the roof so that they can work underneath it tomorrow.

Photo 1: The rear dormer shape has been created now, and the sides boarded up.
