Week 8, day 2: Gable wall is going up

Things are all moving very slowly at the moment because we are still waiting for a date that the steel will be delivered. Yesterday, the gable wall was meant to go up, but the brickie "forgot" to come, so the only progress was that the bricks were taken up onto the scaffolding.
Photos 1 and 2: Today, the brickie did remember to turn up, and the gable wall has started to go up now. It will be finished tomorrow.
Photo 3: From the scaffolding, I was able to photograph the re-done roof on the porch, same tiles so it doesn't look too different, but hopefully now it will be water tight, which is great.
Photo 4: The skip is getting really full now - I don't know how full it can get before it needs replacing. I don't think the entire internal wall will fit in it, but who knows!
