Olive oil on water is a classic still life photography idea, that I've never tried before. You can put anything underneath to create different colours in the bubbles. I chose a catalogue that had quite a busy front and it has worked quite well. I don't have a macro lens so this is hugely cropped. I'll probably do a few of these during the year, will be interesting to see any improvements.
